In this WebQuest you learned about several important human rights documents from the past. With careful analysis, I hope you were able to understand why these documents were so important at the time and also some drawbacks to these documents. Basic human rights need to be protected in order for society to function properly. As time moves forward, people's views about what rights are important change. Are the Second and Third Amendments still necessary in the US? Does the Fourth Amendment apply to e-mail and phone calls? What is the best way to make sure that people are given basic human rights? How are these rights protected?
As the people's view continue to change, we must always fight to make sure that everyone has their basic human rights protected.
